New 'Find My Train' tool on Trainline, powered by Signalbox
Signalbox’s journey detection technology is used by Trainline for a new feature of Europe’s leading train and coach app. The feature, called Find My Train, is now available for all Trainline iOS app users.
Find My Train uses Signalbox’s sophisticated transport detection API to make it simpler for Trainline app users to find and follow their train in real-time. The new feature enables users to access personalised live journey updates direct to their mobile device.
By combining geolocation with live data for rail services in Great Britain, Signalbox enables travellers to automatically retrieve details of their journey without searching for trains. Its API combines proprietary machine-learning algorithms with sophisticated GPS and mapping technology to match a passenger’s device to a train, linking it with multiple sources of real-time transport information.
